Meet the characters who bring Mytikah's adventures to life. Each one has a unique way of seeing the world and helps turn history, imagination, and courage into discovery.
Manga
The older sister and protector of Leco. At 11 years old, Manga is the nickname of Marina Gabriela. She is the narrator and guide of the adventures. Manga is fearless and can hardly resist diving into adventures. She is smart and always relies on the magical book Mytikah to answer Leco's questions — and beyond just his questions, she also tends to rescue her brother from the dangers and awkward situations he gets himself into.
Observant, questioning, humanitarian, and always ready to help — just like any true Aquarian. With orange hair, Manga is tall and slender, since she is going through a growth spurt, as her brother would say.
Leco
Marcelo, 6 years old, is learning to read. He wears glasses, loves to play, and is always the first to jump into the adventures. His nickname is Leco, and he is afraid of many things. Alligators, scarecrows, the dark, and being alone make his little legs tremble. He always wants Manga nearby — after all, he is younger and feels safe with her.
Leco has a very vivid imagination, and without his glasses he cannot see well, yet even so his head is a whirlwind of thoughts and unusual associations. Considered a born Sagittarius for his optimism, good humor, and unfiltered honesty — and also for his great luck in getting out of all sorts of scrapes. He is still small and, in his own words, has not yet reached the "growth spurt" stage.
Mytikah
Mytikah is a magical book that holds the stories of true heroes from all cultures. First found on the African continent, it has traveled the world, passing from hand to hand and bringing the stories of these heroes to curious children from every corner of the globe.
Its purpose is to preserve the memory of past events, to honor the heroic acts of people who left a great legacy for humanity, and to ensure that certain events are never repeated.
